This highly competitive and popular class produces big fields and a great show.  While 6 Litre engines have the potential to produce higher speeds, reliability and the skills of the driver plays an important role in who does well over the day.  Their speeds range from 100 to 120 mph.  With new rules introduced to the sport, this class of boat now require each to have a safety capsule.  This is arguably the toughest class to have success with, as there is so much technology and smart operators involved.
