Are you new to powerboat racing? Want to get involved?  There are plenty of ways to be involved in the sport, even for those those don’t own or drive a boat.  Our club’s major annual event Lockyer Powerfest offers a plethora of opportunity for you to be a big part of powerboat racing in Queensland.  Over the weekend of Lockyer Powerfest alone, we seek volunteers in a range of talents including…

* drivers to reverse competitor’s boats in and out of the water for a half day shift or longer

* rescue and crash boat staff to man boats on the water over the weekend

* infrastructure set up assistance (eg. put up fences,  tents, corporate and ramp areas) prior to the event and at the closure of the event

* take a short shift to check and clean public portable toilets that are available for use to the public over the weekend

* sell raffle tickets to the public in the crowds over the weekend of Lockyer Powerfest
